We wanted to share the good news with you that the LBA badminton club has reopened! We wanted to invite those who want to play badminton to join us starting Nov 24, 2021. (Schedule: http://londonbadminton.ca/?p=1240).

Please note the following protocols:

In order to provide a healthy and safe environment for our participants to enjoy our Badminton events during the COVID-19 pandemics, you are expected to abide by the following School Board COVID19 measures and LBA rules/regulations. We preserve our right to cancel your enrolment without fee refund if you violate or refuse to comply with the following rules and regulations:

Registration: 

  1. Each potential participant must apply to enroll in our program via email to register@londonbadminton.ca with his/her legal name and proof of full vaccination against COVID-19; 
  2. By applying to enroll in our program, you acknowledge that 
    1. you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the health and safety guidelines as per TVDSB, local health units and provincial;
    2. you have been notified that the registration fees will not be refunded or compensated in any way if your enrolment is canceled due to your violation of our rules and regulations;
    3. You agree to abide by the LBA rules and regulations for COVID-19 precaution;
    4. You agree not to allow others to participate in the events enrolled under your name with your identity; and
    5. You agree to follow the instructions provided by the event supervisor who has the right to remove you from the school facility and the event participation if you violate or refuse to comply with the LBA rules and regulations.
Participation:  You are expected to abide by the following rules and regulations on EACH event day:
  1. Show your government-issued ID to the event supervisor for confirming your identity;
  2. You can only enter into the school facility at 6:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. when the event supervisor attends the school entrance to pick you up. You shall not call, email, text or use any other way to request the event supervisor for a special entry if you did not come on time.
  3. Complete school COVID-19 School Screening Questionnaire as per event supervisor’s instruction and show the result to him/her;
  4. Complete the Check-in Sheet with your legal name, accurate contact and vaccination information and sign;
  5. Wear masks at all times except when on court
  6. The only access to areas permitted by the event supervisor, including designated washrooms, entrance/exit;
  7. Do not touch or use school equipment without the event supervisor’s permission;
  8. Stop playing 10 minutes prior to the finish time and as per event supervisor’s instruction and leave the school immediately;
  9. Do not come with spectators; and
  10. Parents shall only drop off and pick up outside the school.  Thank you, LBA
