There are some updates for LBA summer badminton events highlighted as follows:
- Time: Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, 7:30PM – 9:30PM
- Location: Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre (656 Elizabeth St., London, On)
- Air conditioned
- Price: $30
The summer session starts on July 3 and ends on August 31 in Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre (656 Elizabeth St., London, ON). The schedule mainly includes Monday nights, Thursday nights, and Saturday nights. To prevent overcrowding, the club limits the number of member registration at 32 per night (4 courts in total). Notice that, Monday night one court will be reserved for children play (max 8 children, less than 12 year-old inclusive and must be accompanied by an adult). You can register one night, two nights or all three nights. Please note, you are only considered a member on the night(s) which you registered while the drop-in policy will apply on the nights which you are not. Membership Fees (Non-refundable)
- Monday nights: $30 (9 nights)
- Thursday nights: $30 (9 nights)
- Saturday nights: $30 (8 nights)
Children Membership Fees (Non-refundable)
- Monday nights: $10 (9 nights, one court only)

You can register via email at register@londonbadminton.ca. Once the registration has been processed, the applicants are responsible to make the payment within 2 days. You will be officially registered once payments have been received, and a confirmation email will then be sent to the applicant. The details required in the email are as follows:

Starting on July 3, 2017, you can register and pay in person (cash only) during the weekly badminton play nights if spots are still available.
Drop-In Policy
Those elected to not become a member can still play on any given night by paying $10/per night drop-in fee. However, as members get priority, the number of available spots for drop-in will vary each night. To prevent disappointments, it requires non-members to submit a drop-in request to dropin@londonbadminton.ca before 5:00pm on the day you are going to play. We will let you know as soon as possible whether there are spots remaining. If players show up without an approved drop-in request, they will not be permitted to play if the maximum number of people (32) has been reached.

- The membership Fee will not be refunded once you are successfully registered regardless of opting-out or partial absence from the play season.
